Discover Scuba Adventures at Dayo Scuba
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba diving to see if you like it.
During you Discover Scuba Diving experience you will learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water, under the direct supervision of a qualified/certified professional. It is an easy and safe introduction, giving you a taste of what it takes to explore the underwater world.
There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to –after all, human beings weren’t designed to do that – but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is not coaxing participants into the water, but coaxing them out when the program is over. The great part of our Discover Scuba Experience is that we do all the work, so you can relax and enjoy your adventure!
All our Instructors bring cameras, so you will have lots of picture memories of your adventure afterwards!
You will:
- Learn what wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to move around underwater while wearing it
- Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater and learn whether you can be comfortable there
- Learn some basic skills and safety rules that will carry over to your full Open Water scuba certification course when you take the next step

To participate in our Discover Scuba Diving Experience, you must be:
- At least 10 years old
- In general good health. For any kind of scuba diving training, the student will first need to be medically cleared. If the student is able to answer “No” to all questions on the form, then they will not be required to have a physicians’ signature for diving. A “Yes” answer on this form means that the student should take the entire packet to a physician for a medical approval to engage in scuba diving activities. Please review this medical questionnaire in time to get the required clearance if necessary. To save time, we advise that you print it, fill it out and bring it with you prior to your dive.
Once you complete your Discover Scuba Experience, you will want to check out:
- Our Open Water Diver certification courses (hyperlink to class info). You will receive a $50 discount on your Open Water Class if you enroll within 6 months/year?
