Blue Springs State Park, Orange City, FL  28 Jan 1999

This dive was to finally get me certified to breathe NITROX which is AIR but with a higher concentration of Oxygen.  We made 2 dives. The first at 60, the second at 80+.  The visibility (where there was light) was 100+ feet.

The dive was okay this first time. I was bored a few minutes into the first dive.
I wish I had a flashlight to go the bottom of the spring, but the Park won't let you take one into the water if you aren't Cavern or Cave Certified.  I'll get around to that this summer.

This spring is a hole or cave that extends straight down. Most of the following pictures are taken looking down, though they appear otherwise...

Directions: I-4 to Orange City, follow signs to park off Rt 17-92
